First Call for Papers

Jointly sponsored by China Computer-Assisted Language Learning Association (ChinaCALL), Pacific Association for Computer Assisted Language Learning (PacCALL), and hosted by School of Online and Continuing Education, Beijing Foreign Studies University and the Language Centre, Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, the GLoCALL 2018 Conference & 15th ChinaCALL Conference 2018 will be held in Suzhou, China, from August 16th to 18th, 2018.

The conference aims to share knowledge, skills, and ideas on the integration of technologies and language learning in the forms of workshops, plenary sessions, paper presentations, symposia and colloquiums.

Selected papers will be published in three reputable journals － EJCALL (indexed in Scopus), IJCALLT (indexed in ESCI and Scopus), and Chinese Journal of Applied Linguistics (indexed in ESCI).

We welcome experts, teachers, and practitioners in CALL to join us.

Registration Fee:

• ● The registration fee is RMB1200 or $200 each for the regular participant, and RMB 800 /or $130 each for the full-time postgraduate student. Please kindly note that student participants need to present their student IDs upon registration.
• ● The registration fee includes the pre-conference workshop, cost of conference organization and the conference information package. Once paid, it will not be refunded.
• ● The registration fee has to be prepaid, before July 16, 2018. Please kindly note that regular participants who fail to pay by due date will not be arranged to give presentations. On-site payment will only be available for listeners who decide to come on short notice.
